Waiting to see if I'm neurotypical in any way. I think I tend to look at the area with the least visual stimulus, which in this case is the white closed vertical blinds to my right. I noticed I stare at the ceiling when I try to remember things at the doctor because my social worker commented on it. The ceiling here is very busy (a mobile, a chandelier, and water stains) so the blinds it is.
ETA: I say that like there are more neurotypicals on your list than otherwise. Mine is...not that way.
